About

This is me on set, art directing a photoshoot of the Thomas Phifer designed restaurants, Savor and Relish, at Klyde Warren Park in Dallas, Texas. Photo by Thomas McConnell.

Let's work together.

Designing for Designers

I am a multi-disciplinary creative working in graphics, branding, publishing, experiential, and spacial design. I have been responsible for establishing and communicating visual identity across media and sense-of-place throughout the built environment. I am a detail-oriented, deadline-focused conceptual thinker who can design projects from start to finish. I have extensive experience leading and strategizing projects, as well as managing designers and fabricators, and being a liaison with clients and stakeholders.

Most recently, I was a Senior Associate of Design and Strategy at Sensory Interactive, and prior to that a Senior Designer at Page/Dyal—the branding and graphics studio at Page. I’m currently taking on clients of my own.

I always say that I love designing for designers. Not because it’s easy—it’s not. It’s the best kind of challenge. Designers know what they like and creating something that feels authentic to a designer or their space is the ultimate reward.

For seven years I was the Art Director for Texas Architect magazine and the Design Manager for the Texas Society of Architects. Along with designing and producing 46 issues of an award-winning, bi-monthly magazine, I managed the Society's brand and created all of the graphic elements for their print and digital communications, as well as their annual events and conventions. I also directed photo shoots, and was a regularly contributing photographer.

I continue to be inspired by the immensely talented and diverse group of architects who were volunteering their time and supporting the Society's mission to be 'The Voice for Texas Architecture.'

Along the Way

For the past several years, I have contributed time and design efforts to AIA Austin, where I was the 2019 Communications Chair for AIA Austin Women in Architecture.

Previously I volunteered in the Preservation Guild for Landmarks, the public arts program at the University of Texas.

I have also guest lectured at the University of Texas in the School of Design and Creative Technologies, School of Communications, and College of Fine Arts.

I've presented in continuing education sessions at the the Texas Society of Architects Conventions, spoken at Crew Austin events, and was on a roundtable for AIA Austin’s 2020 Visionary Series: Branding Architecture.

I’ve juried the Folio Eddie & Ozzie Awards and managed the Texas Society of Architect's Design and Studio Awards programs.

I am a member of AIGA, the professional association for design.

I do what I love, and I work with great people.
